Meeting Notices
The Haldane Board of Education will meet in a Special Meeting on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 10:00am via Zoom for the purpose of conducting the PNW BOCES Budget Vote and Trustee Election.
The Board will then meet on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 7:00pm in the Middle School/High School Library of the Haldane Central School District, 15 Craigside Drive, Cold Spring, NY 10516, for the Workshop Meeting.
Workshop Topic: Universal Pre-K Update
24-25 Budget Topic: Adoption of Haldane Budget
It is intended that the public portions of the meeting will be recorded and later posted. A draft agenda will be available prior to the meeting on BoardDocs.
Haldane Central School Board Goals 2023-2024
Goal 1
Collaborate with the Superintendent to finalize the Campus Master Plan draft, finalize the components of Project 1, and determine if and when Project 1 should be presented to the community for vote, with special attention throughout to community engagement and education.
Goal 2
Monitor the work of the Pupil Personnel Services department as it develops long-term plans for program improvements and engages in near-term actions.
Goal 3
Develop new processes and practices for building visitation with the goal of developing opportunities for observing educational programs and connecting with district staff.
Goal 4
Create and adopt a new board member orientation manual and related processes to facilitate information transfer, promote consistency, and maintain a highly effective body.
