Michelle has shown her commitment to public education by serving on an elected Community Education Council in NYC as well as being a trustee on the Haldane School Foundation for seven years, three as president. She's loved getting to know the community. It's an exciting time to join the board, and she looks forward to serving the school district with a community-minded team to build on all the great things going on at Haldane.

ADAM BurgooN, trustee
Term Expires: June 2029
Adam and his wife, Karen, have a 4th and 7th grader at Haldane. He spent 20 years with the founders of Morgan Stanley’s first private company investment fund. While finance is his original area of expertise, his passion is enabling complex systems to improve the human experience. To that end, he earned a master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology and started an investment fund (Drumbeat Ventures) to help leaders create better organizational cultures. His work is grounded in both real-world application and current research, and he believes it is highly relevant to maintaining a healthy school ecosystem that prioritizes educational success alongside social and emotional well-being.
