Meet our Members



Jen Daly

President
Jen Daly has a background as a public school arts educator, small business owner, and fitness professional. She has elementary school aged children and has lived in the district since 2012. This is her third term on the Board of Education.


John Hedlund

Vice President
John Hedlund is in his first term on the Board after having lived in the district for 11 years, and has two children who have been enrolled in the district since kindergarten. He has worked in the financial services industry for 17 years, and started his professional life as an elementary school teacher in Houston, Texas.




Peggy Clements

Trustee
Peggy Clements has served on the Board since 2015. After earning a Ph.D. in psychology in 2003, she began working as a child development and education researcher. Her work focuses on the use of technology to support teaching and learning, particularly for science and math. Peggy’s son graduated from Haldane in 2016.



Margaret Parr

Trustee

Margaret Parr's work experience ranges from Sony Music International to Philipstown Recreation. Currently she is employed by the Village of Bronxville. Her family has lived in the district for over 25 years, and her two children graduated from Haldane in 2016 and 2017. This is Margaret's second term on the Board of Education.



Sean McNall

Trustee

Sean McNall was elected to the Board of Education in 2019. He is the Director of Education and Associate Artistic Director at the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. In these roles, he is primarily responsible for arts education and professional training programs for teachers and students from middle school through post-secondary school. Sean lives in Nelsonville and his son attends Haldane Elementary School.
