This spring, we'll break ground on an exciting Capital Project featuring two STEAM Innovation Labs. And we need you to help shape the forward-thinking, interdisciplinary program that will bring them to life.
Whether you're a veteran educator or a new teacher eager to help build a STEAM program from the ground up, Haldane is the place for you!
You'll have direct control over everything from the curriculum to the classroom spaces, materials, and systems that support innovation and collaboration.
What you'll do at Haldane:
- Design and implement a vertically aligned Grade 6-12 STEAM curriculum
- Develop interdisciplinary, project-based learning experiences aligned to NYS Learning Standards
- Collaborate with teachers across content areas to integrate STEAM principles into instruction
- Facilitate hands-on, inquiry-based learning using design thinking and engineering practices
- Support inclusive and culturally-responsive instructional practices
- Participate in ongoing curriculum development, professional learning, and program evaluation
