Mr. Wallick is proud to have spent many years working in education. For over 20 years, he was a classroom teacher, teaching all grades from kindergarten to 4th grade. Following that, he was an assistant principal for two years and a principal for three years before taking on the role of elementary school principal here at Haldane. Mr. Wallick reports that he loves working with the children and families here at Haldane. When not at school, Mr. Wallick lives in Katonah with his wife (also an educator) and their two sons. He spends his spare time at Mets games, exploring in New York City, and running on the roads around his home in northern Westchester.
Mrs. Sniffen has taught and supported students at Haldane for over 20 years. From multi-grade elementary teacher, to leadership roles in the middle school and high school, she has come to know almost every family in Cold Spring. Her focus is on the whole child – the academic, social, and emotional needs of each and every student. When not on the Haldane campus, Mrs. Sniffen enjoys the outdoors, musicals, and sports with her husband, Jeff, and children, William and Caroline. Cold Spring is Mrs. Sniffen’s second home and she loves being part of this community.
Mr. Salumn is in his 3rd year as the Director of Health, Physical Education, and Athletics for the Haldane Central School District. Prior to working at Haldane, he was a physical education teacher for the Peekskill City School District for 5 years and was the varsity baseball coach in Peekskill for 6 years. During the summer, Mr. Salumn coaches the Hudson Valley Athletics of the Hudson Valley Collegiate Baseball League. He's had the opportunity to coach athletes from the Division 1, 2 and 3 levels. Mr. Salumn believes Haldane is a great place to work because of the outstanding people in this community. He says, "our student-athletes are always supported and for that I am extremely thankful. Go Blue Devils!"
