Elementary Band is a great way for students to experience what it means to be part of an ensemble, work with others, and of course, learn to express themselves through music. We meet once a week at 8:15am for a full band rehearsal and we have a weekly lesson with each instrumental group to cover the specifics of each instrument. Fourth Grade students meet on Tuesdays and Fifth Grade students meet on Fridays. Playing an instrument is a great opportunity for students to develop their collaborative skills, motor skills, conceptual thinking, and more!

Elementary School Chorus takes place on Wednesdays from 8:15 - 8:45 AM. Students in 4th and 5th grades are invited to attend this voluntary program.

The Child Study Team (CST) at Haldane Elementary School has developed an after school HELP Program to provide students with additional supports and interventions to help increase their capacity for success in school. The goal of this program is to provide students with a structured environment in which they can receive additional assistance with homework, reinforce positive study habits and skills, and become more independent learners.
