HAA Meeting Minutes

Haldane Arts Alliance (HAA) supports and promotes performing, media, visual, and literary arts at Haldane by initiating art-related programs and performances, and by providing enrichment opportunities for students as well as professional development for staff.

In addition to partnering with other Haldane organizations, local businesses, and arts nonprofits, HAA hosts monthly arts meetings that are open to all Haldane arts supporters. The 2020-2021 meeting schedule will be available soon.

To become an Arts Ally, download our annual membership form or you can join the alliance by simple direct online donation.

5th Grade Arts Alive

Every year, Arts Alliance organizes “Grade 5 Arts Alive” — a full day of experiential art workshops and performances for Haldane 5th graders! Professional artists from the community volunteer to share their time and expertise with students. Past workshops have included acting, drumming, poetry, circus arts, textile design, woodworking, dance, sculpting, film, to name a few.

Haldane Art Gallery at Foodtown

In collaboration with the PTA and Foodtown of Cold Spring, in 2017 Arts Alliance initiated a public art gallery to showcase Haldane student work. Installations occur on a quarterly basis thanks to Arts Ally members who coordinate with Haldane's teaching staff to rotate multi-grade student artwork.
